Finally watched the Xmas special of #Detectorists. What an amazing payoff. Had me laughing for a solid minute.

We finally watched the Detectorists special last night and I can't stop thinking about what has to be the best joke they have done. It took three seasons to set up with a running joke, and for my money they absolutely nailed the payoff.

(It was about 3/4 of the way through, and involved a cold beverage.)
