I just used a newer version of "Blaue Flecken" by Fiva for ThursdayFiveList, the original song is on her debut album (together with DJ Radrum) from 2002. It's a fantastic album, that I haven't heard for too long.

Had "Hochkultur 2" by #SamyDeluxe on heavy rotation since its release on Friday. "Hundertausende Follower, wenige Thronfolger" – spot on, Samy, spot on! Definitely not his best work lyrically, but gosh, that production! I wish those old school hip hop beats come back one day. 🙏

Very nutty german hiphop album with great storytelling. This song in particular is the emotional peak for me on this album and describes the descent of a friend into substance abuse and his eventual suicide. Heavily recommend it.
