So, the boss wants to hire people who can work on anything in the suite of programs we run for our big client. Which is nice and all, but to have the sort of depth we’re looking for on the #JavaScript side, they should have been doing all JS for several years, so diving into the #PHP side, which is the sort of PHP they earn programming students about, is not an easy challenge. I get why my boss wants it. Just not sure he’s right. #DevLife #HiringIsHard

I've been having a lot of fun the past two mornings working on this message board upgrade project. I did some refactoring of classes to make it easier to write unit tests for them, and have since started on using Symfony Console and FakerPHP to write a database seeding command.

It's not there yet, but my goal is to have a command or two to spin up the local environment and have it fully seeded with data for development purposes. I'm having a great time! #devlife #sabbatical

Turns out submitting application for dev unit of #VisionPro is motivation and I now have a version of the core of two of my apps that compiles & runs in simulator Seeing that it relies on hardware specific features, sure would be great to get my hands on a test unit 🥽 #devlife

The only exception is that a period (.) cannot be the first or last character of this part, and there can't be two periods in a row.
