Rehearsals for our touring theatre production of Les Miserables: Last night, we were working on the barricade scenes, specifically on getting the sound cues lined up with the actors and the live shots fired on stage. The revolutionaries, led by Enjolras are absolutely rocking!

At our rehearsal venue early today- we always clean the downstairs part of the community centre ina Wednesday, and here is Rich checking over the guns for the act 2 revolution scenes. We use cap guns which have been made in the style of antique flintlocks. Over the years the mechanisms can get a bit worn so they all need a check over and test firing

We ran a great theatre acting class for adults tonight at our lovely home venue Brixham Theatre
Tonight our students were exploring use of the stage, the areas of the stage and the jargon- then how to use the different areas of the stage to help tell a story, with a great play scene excerpt
Now it’s home for food and then tomorrow- performing Beowulf in Torquay!

Preparing for the final leg of our Beowulf theatre tour, we had a blocking and cue rehearsal (no costumes)) this evening at our rehearsal room at Chestnut Community Centre, ready for the performance on Friday at Torquay Royal Lyceum Theatre.
