I just wrote a short article about my key findings of working nearly eight years remotely.

Figured this out! My solution was to use a combo of #vim keybindings in the #tmux config and then switch to tmux scroll mode with `v` and `y` to select and grab the text. Got a full write up on #devto https://dev.to/cseeman/how-to-copy-text-from-one-pane-macostmuxalacritty-2ll0
Cross posted my primer on #git stash to #DevTo.

@davidtoddmccarty ah, OK, yep. Like I said I think they want to be your blog and don't want you feeding into it. Now dev.to on the other hand is completely open and let's you cross-post. I feel like #Medium is the Twitter of blogging and a service like #DevTo is the #FOSS or #Fediverse counter to that. π€·ββοΈ

After 15 years I closed my personal website and redirected the link to my #github profile.
I feel that back then it was "cool" that you had a website of your own. Nowadays it is just a place people get to when they are lost or click something by accident π±.
Anything you would show on your website is now handled by services like #linkedin, #github, #devto, #medium, #dribble, #facebook or even #mastodon.
Those are places that people actually visit in this app driven world.
Just a thought π€.
