How it started...
How it's going.

Demolished an old, badly constructed, and rotting walkway between the main house and our lounge/library/office.
Built a new one with proper framing, blackbutt decking and the correct fixings, plus correctly mounted the duct for power and TV aerial/satellite NBN dish, which had been hanging loose under the old deck.

I even recovered a small amount of hardwood that can be rejointed and used in a project at some point.

This should last a while.

I have a #DeWalt cordless drill that spent the last 2 weeks on the patio, forgotten under the rain. Dried it up, added some WD40, and it just works!

The new #deWalt interlocking #drillBit cases with clear covers are nice.

Whether these bits are any good on #styrene or #polycarbonate is another matter. The deWalt bits I had were no good (and one set I just got is likely identical to one I had, except for the case).

I don’t do much HW stuff, but sometimes am drilling into thing to house hokey little #electronics projects (such as my #JFET #opAmp continuity detector for making sure I didn’t screw up the connections in the next version).

I've got a DeWalt cordless drill and reciprocating saw set that I use occasionally around the house. It's a bit old, on its second set of batteries, but still works like a champ.

Well, the charger has a single LED that blinks in different patterns based on what it's doing. The problem: when you don't use it very often, you have zero idea what is a "short" and what is a "long" blink. So every time I get it out and start charging a battery, I'm stuck guessing: is it charging normally (all long blinks) or is it saying replace battery (all short blinks). Then when BOTH packs give the same blink pattern, you still don't know...

Not really computer or tech related but I do spend some time outside of my cubicle building things and one such tool that helps me along that I am rather smitten is the #DeWalt 20v Max Cordless Compact Router. Very well made and incredibly convenient.
