Heute vor 10 Jahren: Erstes DFDS-Spezialschiff in Stralsund getauft

Werftarbeiter der #Volkswerft #Stralsund beobachten die Taufe des Schiffsneubaus #ArkGermania.Das Spezialschiff und sein Schwesterschiff sind die letzten verbliebenen Schiffbauaufträge. Neben der eigentlichen Nutzung als Ro/Ro-Schiff wird der Neubau im Bedarfsfall auch den dänischen Streitkräften und der #Bundeswehr für den strategischen Seetransport zur Verfügung stehen.

2. Demand is therefore predictable and controllable
3. Border control delays are now a certainty
