I have two conlangs:
#Lortho [ˈloɾ.tʰo], an Indo-Iranian-inspired agglutinating language with #VSO word order and 10 grammatical cases. I created a LTR, horizontal #writingsystem that is used solely to write Lortho inspired by Tibetan, Devanagari, and Tengwar.
#Dhakhsh [ðæxɕ], a Germanic-inspired analytic language with #SOV word order. I created a vertical, top-to-bottom, RTL writing system used solely to write Dhakhsh inspired by Mongolian, Pahlavi, and Avestan.
#lortho #vso #writingsystem #dhakhsh #sov
Here is a comparison between day one (broad nib) vs now (brush tip). They both say the same thing: #Ngezhtulk—the writing system for #Dhakhsh. The one on the right was a pure abjad, and the left is an alphabet. I wanted to show how even an invented writing system can evolve.

#Lexember Day 12
pazhjelq [paʑ.ˈd͡ʑɛlq] n. : 1. ornament, adornment; 2. mark, scar (often attributed to the first visible healed wound from a battle; a rite of passage)
I've been practicing with the brush pen and I like how the writing system is developing. There is one new development where the letter representing [ɛ] becomes a ligature if the preceding letter has a tail.
Day 9
bekhesh [bɛ.ˈkʰɛʃ] adj. • 1. messy, dirty, soiled; 2. forbidden, unspeakable, e.g. bekheshu mathu: "forbidden tongue"
The second definition is quite interesting. What could be the "forbidden tongue?" This raises so many new questions. I wonder if it is either a daughter or sister language of a long lost culture. Perhaps this is in reference to #Dhakhsh, a language spoken by a distant nation known to be skilled at war. Must know more...

#Lexember Day 8
tangghorb [tæŋ.ˈɢorb] n. • a massive hoofed beast domesticated by the loesheq [ˈlœ.ɕəq]; it is prized for its strength, esp. as a battering ram
NOTE: little is known other than it is massive. I will continue my research and hopefully uncover more about this animal. I'm curious if it will have horns...?

#lexember 1 & 2
I made the word for sleep for #Lortho and #dhakhsh. They don't equate one-for-one, so I will expound later.
Although I did make a discovery: #Dhakhsh follows consonant harmony. All consonants in a word are either voiced or voiceless, but not mixed. An unintentional trend I just noticed.

Hello! I am a world-travelled family man with an avid interest in languages and linguistics. I speak, read, and write English and Persian fluently.
I am active in the #conlang community and I am the creator/author of #Lortho and #Dhakhsh. I have used my passion and skill as a calligrapher to create unique writing systems for both.
I am a #Linux systems administrator by profession.
I look forward to learning and making your acquaintance.

Someone had mentioned making a #conlang sketch and I think I might do a new one myself. I'm looking to fill my fantasy world with different cultures and—so far—I have two. I don't think I could work on three conlangs at the same time, but it's entirely possible. I'm still trying to figure out what the heck I want to do with #Dhakhsh
