Monday Morning Bike Ride (or Mt Diablo and the Foothills are Turning Brown)
I stopped at this spot and all I could hear were birds chirping and the occasional jet rumbling overhead at 15,000 feet. I lingered for 5 or 10 minutes.
The word that came to mind was "restorative."
