This is Watchbell Lane in #Newport on the #IsleofWight, photographed by my husband.

It's less than a minute's walk from our shop and has a #DiagonAlley feel to it after dark. The steam is coming from a hotel laundry - It always adds to the magic down there. I love how the shop lights create patterns on the ground.

Got up early to visit The Shambles without people! Dating back to the 14th Century, this medieval street is beautiful and well worth a visit during and out of opening hours. It is supposed to have been the inspiration behind Harry Potters Diagon Alley. It has become an unofficial mecca for Happy Potter fans around the world.
