Just had a quick game of Qwinto, a dice game, that I liked much better. You have to fill up your columns in ascending order without having any duplicates either horizontally or diagonally. You can roll 1, 2 or 3 dice of any of the 3 colours and add the total to the columns of the colours you used. You get bonus points for filling columns and minus points for not being able to out a number down. Tactical and fun and pretty short.

With #DiceFolk I was almost certain I’d like it – and didn’t get disappointed! I’ve a soft spot for tactical, #TurnBased games, and this one certainly has the potential to become one of the staples of the genre! A bit on the easy side, but for a demo that’s probably the right choice. It’s a #DiceGame where you control the order in which the dice take effect – both for yours and the enemy one's. Battles are fought in teams of three, so proper positioning and thinking ahead are a must. :)

More with LCR dice. My little tin has three of them. LEFT and Right are written out. ● is Center and ☆ is Keep.

Roll ●● to gain a token. A token can activate an attack or defense. A token can also block half of an attack.

Characters have 6 slots, usually 5 attacks and 1 defense, but possible to have 2 defenses.

Heavily inspired by Dice Throne, but only 1 roll and no cards. Using only items included in the LCR game I bought.

Pocketmod characters will fit in the tin.

The last few board games I have played have all been great fun and all Two Player (although #MarvelDiceThrone can be played with teams of two).

#Senso is super simple, but full of strategy, Dice Throne is lots of fun and has some great moments between the different characters. #Radlands is just superb with limited resources, some cool card synergy and fantastic #MadMax meets #Cyberpunk style artwork.

I can recommend them all.
