New year, new #dice....

This attempt at a gelatinous cube set worked out pretty much exactly as intended, except for the inserts sinking to the bottom of the mould. This despite leaving the resin for an hour to thicken before inserting them!

This will probably have to be a two-pour set, but we're excited to see how they turn out!

Probably the weirdest set of dice we've made so far was this set, designed to commemorate the Reddit-legend, "Epoxy Hot Dog".

Each hot dog was lovingly 3D printed, painted and encased in clear resin... It was like a machine for printing Reddit karma! We still get messages to this day asking to buy them!

Hey #DiceMakers - how do you use Zona papers? Do you keep the full sheet intact? Or, like us, do you carefully trim them down to smaller pieces?

We've found that one set of 2in by 2.5in papers handily polishes one set of seven dice before needing to be replaced.

The downside is we tend to end up hording the discards... you know, just in case we need used up polishing papers for some reason!

Coffee or hot chocolate? That's the debate that's raging in the "dice lab" this morning.

This set was intended to be a coffee-themed set. It's actually a redo of a set we tried a year ago with the same goal, but that one ended up looking more like cola-flavour ice pops.

This time, Michelle is adamant that the set is actually a hot chocolate set. The gist of her argument is that "coffee is rank".
