Now that I think about it, the number of books that I have read thanks to digital piracy is quite extensive.

I think that if you recommend books, you should tell others how to find them. (And hopefully for free).

Interesting when reading older non-fiction books. Their references for resources, that are usually in an Appendix, lists books, publications, magazine and newspaper articles, blog posts, etc have URLs that can take you to those resources.

If there are a lot of them and they are extensive and complicated URLs, then buy the digital version of the book. Saves a lot of ‘Can’t Find the Server’ responses if you manually type them in.

OTOH, I'm the editor of the now outdated Renascence Editions, Risa Bear, and IIRC I was told by someone in Equatorial Africa that our books were much appreciated there because of the speed at which paper deteriorates in the local conditions.
