I think I first heard this on #DigitalFoundry but I also think that #Xbox are missing an opportunity to create an arcade-style companion game to
#MicrosoftFlightSimulator2024;
Similar to the split between #ForzaMotorsport and #ForzaHorizon.

The upcoming expansion to Flight Simulator adds cool aircraft and missions like fire fighting or helicopter rescue but are unfortunately retaining the strict simulation controls which limits the audience.

Phantom Liberty will improve the original CyberPunk 2077 game as well.

Maybe that will be the right time to finally play the game in all its glory.

#XboxGamePass and #XboxCloudGaming feel like a technical accomplishment.

Yesterday I was listening to #DigitalFoundry say that it is unplayable and 'garbage'. I could only speak for myself, and my local experience, but it's great.

Here's Forza Horizon 5, the flagship #Xbox #SeriesX game, running. There's the rare dropped frame/stutter in the most demanding games/scenes, but it's a great alternative for when you're away from your console.

@codinghorror you may probably know about #digitalFoundry they had an extensive review and they said if certain powered cpu does not accompany the 4090 then it is difficult to get higher stable frame rates.

I like the review from #DigitalFoundry on #Forspoken. It does a good job of showing things that work, and things that don’t without the knee jerk emotionality that seems to be used everywhere else.

I’m getting really tired of reading things about games where it’s either the pinnacle of art and humanity, or it’s a piece crap that’s not even worth the ground it fell on - and there is literally no in between.

So this was refreshing, giving ideas of things that worked, things that didn’t, and a level personal opinion. I miss grounded reviews and discussions like this one.

I really hate how things are all being run on this idea of some sort of outrage must be present.
