In #SanFrancisco, a group of academics, diplomats, civil society activists, and tech industry businesspeople launched the #TechDiplomacy Network, “a hub for the diplomatic community to exchange ideas and share best practices.” It seems like a timely initiative to get more stakeholders involved in the international impacts of #DigitalGovernance and provide the necessary feedback to negotiations elsewhere.

IMHO it is oversimplification to equate certain private actors to States - we'd benefit more from a model that accepts complexity among actors. Still, it's an interesting argument about some entities being clients vis-à-vis States. #DigitalGovernance
