@cgoodhistorian great question. My feeling is yes, but there will be different kinds of engagement. A single account is not likely to be as useful as an EventsAt… and someoneAT… or SomeProcessAt etc at engaging with people which is what is more required here.
What would be awesome would if the sector built its own instances and created enabled a more public commons that enabled clearly bounded ‘conversations’ with the communities of interest #DigitalHumanites
I just love how the crowd I was part of on Twitter has started moving here and easily reconnecting. The connections with the people I first connected with on Twitter over 10 years ago appear to be particularly strong. It is bringing back great memories of being part of a small group of people around the world with similar interests, supporting each other.
