As I posted shortly after moving here from #Twitter (https://mastodon.online/@KirkCheyfitz/109382640805372848), my main purpose was to push the question: Can there be a #digitalpublicsquare that's truly open, public and safe? Everything happening on #twitter, of course, keeps screaming that such a place, if it's even possible, can't be owned by a corporation or govt. Can #mastodon be such a place?
