I've been taking a #digitaltwin or #sustainable building technology course for 7 weeks, and this week is the final week of it. It was so tiring to travel to another city every morning and head back home every evening (at least for 2 weeks), but it was/is also a great time. When/where would I try modelling in #Revit and start #VisualBasic and #Python unless now, unless I weren't occupied with something else such as WORK!

Aligning the BIM model with the owner's asset management system is the crucial first step in creating a Digital Twin. It gets used for logistics, and supply-chain management, as well as, the added,insurance, and, liability process-flows. :D

"Digital Twin" is used as a buzzword in the construction industry, as a way of unifying the standards for creating digital models of components, used to make digital models of buildings.

It made for some nice VR walkthroughs, so funders could see what they were going to fund, but they are also used in the construction industry as project management tools, to help juggle the logistics more effectively.

I'm enthusiastic about the #Virtual #DigitalTwin space. Siemens have a virtualised solution for their Siprotech. Back in 2019 I identified it was possible with an existing #relay and it's good to see I was on the right track.
