Interesting idea! It would be great to have more accessible ways of removing batteries and installing an open OS to make a a home server out of an unused smartphone.

- Sell a product promising 7 day free cloud storage
- Surprise folks with just 2 months notice when you’re deprecating that feature and others completely.
- Communicate that in an obtuse legal email and tell folks that they can buy a subscription to get some of the functionality back but not all.
- Don’t provide any transition discounts or other services.

Two good sentences for website publishers and maintainers.

- Just because you can publish doesn’t mean you should
