For holiday fun, I'm #digitizing my grandparents old #8mm #film reels from the 1940s through the 60s, it appears. What a treasure to see my grandparents in their prime, and also my father as a newborn baby! It takes some time, but it's so worth it.

@Starcake Cable wise if you do go with an "ADC" like the Focusrite, you need the right cables. The 2i2 uses "1/4 TRS" cables or XLR cables as the input. In most cases, you'll have an easier time finding RCA (White/Red) to 1/4 TRS cables rather than to XLR cables, but every area and store is different. Some have adapters for standard RCA to RCA which may work.
