The Founder of Christianity never mentioned abortion or homosexuality, libraries or bathrooms. He did, however, have quite a bit to say on how his followers were to treat people, particularly strangers. I personally am not counting on our “christian” legislators to get behind immigration reform despite their “concern” about “christian values,” but they sure could.
