The multiple leptons in the final state are btw what makes it possible to search for such a rare process, they give a rather clean and unique signature not shared by many other processes. Despite being a new channel and containing only a small fraction of the #DiHiggs events produced (most of these events will have b-quarks in the final state, as already targeted by other analyses) we have quite an impressive result here with limits of 20 times the sm production rate.

Not new, but newly published #CMSPaper about #DiHiggs #HHmultilepton https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/JHEP07(2023)095  With recent progress in Analysis techniques and the amount of data taken in the #LHC Run 2 the @CMSexperiment and the #ATLASExperiment have become more and more sensitive to the rarest of #ParticlePhysics processes. This includes the study of processes involving the production of not one, but two #HiggsBosons. 1/9
