#Russia and #Ukraine are very much in the news, but we tend to forget about #humanrights defenders in #Belarus, where the #Lukashenko regime has been keeping #politicalprisoners for 30 years. I worked with #Viasna and Ales Bialiatski when I was at #AmnestyInternational. Ales had such humour and courage, understanding exactly how to use #dilemmaaction to drive change. He's been sentenced to 10 years last week. Let's not forget #Belarusians fighting for freedom.
