Not the most ideal photographic weather, but after heavy rain this waterfall often appears at #Brook on the #IsleofWight

The strange shaped rocks in this image are actually fossilised dinosaur footprints!

There are quite a few of these to be found on the Island and we enjoy looking for them, my husband will always have the camera with him!

Reaching out across hundreds of millions of years... this and many more sauropod footprints (with tracks criss-crossing each other on enormous limestone slabs) was discovered in the 1980s in a commercial quarry. It's now a national monument, preserving a prehistoric treasure and giving visitors a chance to touch a trace of these ancient creatures.
