Here's a from my husband from Saturday afternoon of a juvenile he saw in the near our home in east , . youtu.be/Duk2kReuvwc. The bird is perched on a rock in a fast moving river, looking around, preening itself, the wind ruffling its feathers. At the end it flies off.

I went for a walk last night and spotted a pair of Dippers on a nearby stream. I'd never even heard of them before. I did my best to take a photo but given they're so small it's hard to with a phone. I didn't bring a proper camera as I wasn't expecting to see any birds!

The struggles of a bridge camera are real with bird photography. I used the zoom feature to get close up but the pixel quality rapidly disappears when doing so. That said, it was still a joy to watch a pair of Dippers gathering food for their young in early May ‘22. I would finally take a step up to a DSLR in September, but till that point I did the best I could with what I had.
