Schade, dass ich meine alte GTX 960 (mit 2 GB :blobcatfearful:) nicht in meinen Server reinquetschen kann. Aber theoretisch tut es ja auch jede "günstige" Low Profile GPU, sofern sie #DirectX 11 und 12 unterstützt.

Vulkan/DirectX beginners please use #Renderdoc. It can give you more insight on validation errors (like what's the value of a flag that is erroneous). I just fixed a bug for a fiverr client that was caused by a small code mistake but so hard to find without renderdoc's insight.

New DirectX 12-to-Metal translation could bring a world of Window games to macOS
Probably the most annoying part of writing my own game engine was all the weird bugs that only happen on specific machines.
One person reported the game suddenly sped up (which turned out to be Windows moving it to a different CPU core), on one PC I found depth testing just wouldn't work and I had to write a load of special code, on another there was silence so I had to run tests on the audio devices at startup.

I'm working on fixing a bug in Substream, post-release. Nobody has complained about this to me, but when I run it on my work laptop audio does not play. The game uses the default #DirectX audio device which I'm sure is fine in 99%+ of cases. But since the whole game is synced to the soundtrack, absolutely nothing moves.
So yeah, I'd much rather fix this now than somebody find the same issue.
