There is a difference. In many ways Starmer is Blairite, but compared to the current bunch of tory scum, that's a *huge* improvement. And he's left out one of the most obnoxious elements of the Blair/Brown era: there is little sign of enthusiastically scapegoating the disabled or unemployed, which Labour continued (or even started?) prior to the current tory nightmare.

@twaddleninja At the depressing age of 52 I think I have got past the point where I need a proof of age card. However I do not have a photo ID and as I am living off #disabilitybenefits (it is far too expensive to renew my out of date passport) and I do not drive (ergo no driving licence) I am unlikely to get one anytime soon. It could be difficult for me to vote come May.
