On Thursday I had the great pleasure of speaking on a panel at St Cloud State University on disability justice, & honoring the life & work of Judith Heumann, "the mother of the ADA."

It was such a joy getting to speak alongside other disabled folx about about disability rights, the work Judy did, how much it has changed the world, & how much work we still have to do.

I'm excited to share, as my first post on this platform, that I have received an appointment to a state disability board! I will get to spend the next 3 years helping to make Connecticut more accessible and equitable for disabled folk!

I am also extremely excited to get to serve on the team organizing the State Candidates Forum on Disability, so our candidates for every election get/have to speak about our needs, too!
