Hi all
I read somewhere during the last week (birdapp or tumbler, don't remember) that someone using discord to contact AO3 writers and make them download some file (sort of virus) that will scrape their computer for passwords (discord and all else) and reset them, effectively stealing their accounts.
I don't know if it's 100% true, but I just got this comment on one of my fics (see screenshot).
Has anyone here received anything similar?
( I do not intend to do what the comment suggests).
