Utterly disgusting. This is governments equivalent of sending dick pics to each other. Sad to see humanity has still not managed to progress mentally since the dark ages.

Another common misunderstanding of the #asexual community is the conflation of being averse/repulsed by #sex *personally* and being against sex *politically*. Those are not the same!
One can be repulsed/averse by sex personally, meaning you feel #disgust, #stress, feel uncomfortable by the thought of doing it. Yet at the same time be supportive towards other people expressing their sexuality freely and consensually.

\""creepy\" is an emotional reaction
the emotion is officially called \"disgust\"
It is mostly a learned response. I think sushi is disgusting and creepy. Worms too. In cultures where they eat sushi and grubs they think they're delicious.

Sometimes, when I want to play a game that 100% wont work in Linux, I get the urge to install windows. #Disgust creeps in and then I don't do it.
A #podcast recommendation!
What is #disgust? Why does this feeling, which helps us avoid diseased and dangerous stuff, get applied to the #politics of our opponents?
How is #bias related to trustworthiness? Can you #trust someone who is biased?
Why is word of mouth such important #marketing for businesses and other causes? What motivates people to engage in it (like I am right now)?

"Reclaiming a healthy relationship with your #emotions entails reflecting upon the earliest education you had about feelings, challenging inaccurate messages, and developing new perspectives. Angry feelings, for example, are often a sign that someone has treated you poorly or that something is wrong. Rather than think that you must express or suppress your anger, see if you can harness the energy of #anger to become more assertive, to clarify your boundary, or to become passionate about a needed change in your life.
If emotions were dismissed, disregarded, or misunderstood in your childhood home, it can be difficult to recognize how you feel now as an adult. You can, however, practice sensing your body to develop attunement to your feelings. Here are some body signals of the core emotions and positive messages about these feelings that you can incorporate into your life:
• Sadness: Feeling heaviness in your chest or a lump in your throat. Try saying to yourself, “Sadness needs to be felt and is a sign that I need care and compassion.”
• Anger: Gritting your teeth and clenching your fists. You can say, “Anger offers valuable information and teaches me that I am worthy of fairness and kindness. I can assert my needs in healthy ways.”
• Fear: Feeling shaky, breathless, or cold. Try saying, “Now, when I feel afraid, I can do something about it, then look around me and determine if I am safe now.”
• #Shame: Feeling a pit in your stomach and wanting to cover your face. Try saying, “My shame is a remnant of unwarranted feelings of unworthiness. I am worthy of love.”
• #Disgust: Feeling your lips curl downward while scrunching up your nose and a sour feeling in your stomach. Experiment with saying, “Feelings of disgust are signals that something isn’t safe. I have a right to say no if it doesn’t feel right.”
• Joy and excitement: Feeling bouncy, energetic, smiling, and having a “glow” inside and on your face. Try saying, “I am allowed to be happy and free. I do not need to repress my joy.”
Try to bring an attitude of curiosity and openness to exploration of your emotions. This will help you broaden your sense of self as you reclaim your emotional health.
