EU brings down the hammer on big tech as tough rules kick in

Starting today, the Digital Services Act (DSA) compels the largest tech companies to better police content to protect European users against disinformation and hate speech. All digital services will need to comply by February.

Evidently, there's still a large demand for the outright lies reported on what is a misnomer to have "News" as its last name. Fortunately, the news networks still on Earth 1 have a combined higher viewership, although I have my doubts about #CNN ever since oligarch billionaire John Malone began his quest to turn it into another #FoxNews. I've been boycotting it ever since.
