I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much out of #disobey2023 as I've been having a pretty bad time recently in personal life. That said, I was *really* not expecting this: https://twitter.com/Disobey_fi/status/1627033372307468290

CTF silver after finding a bunch of friends sitting in the CTF area and going "hey can I join", ending up with 2 Tinder bans and calling on landlines to get the attention of two different Seppos. Not to even mention the adventure of taking a sled home exclusively via public transport.

Still can feel the amazing atmosphere of the #disobey2023 I have been missing this event and picked up a new hobby for myself.

I missed the ctf’s, maybe next year. Just need a new laptop since my current one is on its last legs. Might take a look could it be pimped to go for another year. 🤔

Disobey was once again great. It was good to meet you all ❤️ I hope we don’t need to wait 3 years for the next one.

I want to start a social engineering competition, maybe at defcon or the like, where the aim is to communicate security concepts to non-tech people, and say, teach them to use a password manager or MFA.

We could have levels, like can you teach a teen? A CEO? A person who says "the google"? Can they explain the concepts back to a judge when you are done?

Not kidding, who wants to help me set this up?

First day done @ #disobey2023. So amazing to see all the people again! I still have free hugs to share tomorrow if you need one :)

#Disobey2023 is ongoing in #Finland. For most folk this was first day. I’ve been involved with this since 2021. One day still to go.
We made cool #OT #CTF with a client for it. Only two teams have been able get all the flags so far. This has been really cool.
Hopefully tomorrow I have time to see other talks and play other games/challenges.
