#ElectricCars reduce operating #CarbonEmissions, but building them still requires tons of #ConflictMinerals—copper, iron, rubber, and of course lithium—and extracting each of them from populated #DisposableLandscapes takes a toll on the environment. On the other hand, replacing gasoline cars with public transport, #bicycles, or walking reduces impacts across the board.
