I has a master’s. I am considering applying for a doctorate program. I have until the end of the year to apply. But it is a silly Doctorate of Education. The only reason I am considering it is that this program specifically focuses on language, literacy, and culture. What such a program I might be able to get away with a purposeful #dissertation. I have always assumed I would get a #Phd. I could continue study on one of the areas I have already focused on. I have aways thought of 1/2

Universitäten haben eigene Promotionsordnungen, die Repos eigene Vorgaben und #Universitätsbibliotheken gute Websites.

Finished up a blog post on dissertation writing barriers. I talk about getting to the "I hate my dissertation" stage of the PhD, why naming reasons for my "hate" was useful, and ways I've been tricking myself into getting the work done anyway.

It felt good to blog (or do "regular writing") again. Now unfortunately I have to get back to that #dissertation.

I haven't been #reading as much over the years I've been at #university, apart from the course material. That doesn't feel good, since #writers need to #read, but I just haven't had the energy to sit down and read what I'm really interested in. That's a shame, because reading is one of my great passions - hopefully I can get back into it when I finish my #dissertation.
