People complain also about the amount of #spam on such #email #disservices also, yet they are not willing to switch to a better system.

Like a bandaid.

In our experience, the moment a service wants your #phoneNumber, that is the time to drop it.

There are ways to deal with DDoS that do not involve #disservices. Anyone who can setup an instance likely has some ability to find a way to negate DDoS.

CloudFlare is never an option. Just like negotiating with a criminal #protectionRacket is never an answer.
