Maybe you can indeed discuss the lack of #sustainability at ECR2023 in corridor conversations. Academic conferences are a real crux of #ClimateDelayism - each one massive carbon footprint, and then so blinkered and focused on whatever their topic is that hardly any address the big questions. As Charlie Gardner @jks and others keep saying, academia really needs to change

@christianp Stay the eff away from #Mathematica in that case, it ruined me... I never knew anything BUT 0-indexing for 15 happy years, but after five years of only Mathematica, the #cognitive #dissonance is real every time I have to go do some #Python-or-anything-else task.

I think I might have a go at tuning my #piano again tomorrow... It stays in tune for the briefest of time before settling back into its own #dissonance

Which is kinda nice in a way, but frustrating in another. I should probably bin it, but I do like a challenge.
