You got it right. Almost all countries nowadays are a #distopian #regime, from US of America to European countries (I live in Lombardia), not counting China and India (in its own ways). Also African countries are plagued bumy these issues, plus often many others.

A few months ago a friend of mine encouraged me to try an #audiobook ... #ReadyPlayerOne , and since then I've been hooked.

I am not a book reader, as I find the practice uncomfortable and am unable to maintain concentratation. With the audio format, I've devoured several books and have especially enjoyed ones with a #distopian or a #scifi twist.

Said friend also has a great taste and feeds me awesome recommendations!

Had more fun on my attempt

Yesterday I watched the Guillermo del Toro's "Cabinet of Curiosities", a #Horror mini series, which sums down to [spoiler alert] rats and taxidermy.
A few episodes out of eight were OK, there are a lot of unexpected endings and I give it an average rating.
It is not exactly my cup of tea, as I prefer #SF rather than a brew made of sewage dwellers soaked in a bucket of a stale ceiling water.

Today I'm going to start the
"Tales from the Loop" hoping to wash out that vivid impression.
