Financing is channeled through local banks, unprepared for DG as asset class and #DueDiligence causes delays and bureaucracy.

There is lots of great technology available or in development to help resolve these issues.
#SmartGrid to improve distribution efficiency and aid power restoration.
#DistributedGeneration to ease transmission requirements and facilitate use of small renewable sources.
There are a raft of different energy storage technologies battery, hydrogen storage, compressed aid and of course water behind a dam, whether from seasonal inflow or pumped storage.
The real question is who pays?
