Another armchair research interest of mine is the use of repurposed medications in Covid.
After the first suggestions that disulfiram, the well known aversive drug for alcohol dependence, could antagonize SCV2 protease, we looked at Covid symptoms in disulfiram-treated patients, during 1st wave in Italy. Here's our observational study.
(Today I believe its effect is mainly due to inhibition of pyroptosis and NETosis).
