The first protest I ever organized was to try to get my university to #Divest

It took a few years, but by threatening to make the faculty's votes public, we managed to get the senate to approve #Divestment

Of course, the Republican governor's Board of Regents blocked it from actually happening, but at least we got in the news a few times.

Divest from the big Canadian Banks. All of them. Appropriately in this article they were referred to as a “syndicate”. Cartel would have been another good word. These are not corporations that act for the good of the country, only the good of their own shareholders and industry. Exactly, don't give your money and shareholder rights to funds.

You should at the bare minimum have the right to vote with your pension money and decide what it is invested for, fully transparent.

Moreover they lend your funds (a short sale, sometimes naked short), to destroy value, so people end up working more and more to keep the company/country valuation high.

Literally for hot air.
