I believe it is a forlorn hope to seek peace by ignoring unfair power relationships. Oppression is not about differences in opinion, but differences in power. Unity does not come about by ignoring oppressive discrepancies of power so we can all "get along." True unity comes about by sharing power fairly so we can all get what we need.

For that to happen, we must face unpleasant social discrepancies not ignore them.

Listened to Disturbed's latest release, Divisive, earlier today. It was, unfortunately, solidly ok. The entire album just seemed to lack the heart and energy found in previous works. Also the music frequently seemed to overpower instead of support the vocals.

🌟🌟🌟 out of 5 stars.
