The Distortochi is a neat, fun idea, but a difficult one to develop. Mixing digital signals with analog ones is a pain, and trying to use the smallest, cheapest microprocessor is a challenge. Took a stab at etching my own circuit board and building an MXR Envelope filter. I can’t believe they aren’t making this pedal anymore. It sounds awesome and is such an iconic part of funk history. I did have to change one resistor to make it work properly with the Texas Instrument IC’s. This is a well-documented issue. It is incredible! #diyguitarpedals #mxrenvelopefilter #guitareffects
