Even though I understand very little I'll sometimes watch one of the many #Turkish TV channels online. Lots of #dizi (series) from classic soaps to interesting dramas, which is something #Syria had before war put an end to it.

And also, lots of #cat channels from YouTube (Walter Santi, Adorable Paws, etc.) reporting they are ok.

It's heartbreaking to see the destruction and aftermath caused by the quakes.

I have a question for people who watch Turkish dizi.

The Gift / Atiye (2019-2021) & Another Self (2022) share a writer (Nuran Evren Sit), director (Burcu Alptekin ), & 2 producers (Pelin Ekinci Kaya & Cem Chaban). There's an obvious consistency in tone, theme & style choices between the two shows.

Shamaran (2023) has a similar vibe, but I can't find any production connections.

Have I missed something? Is there a connection between all three shows? Help me solve this mystery!

* All my devices are setup in English.
* Can read ~75% Portuguese as I studied it a bit and it's very similar to Spanish but not used writing or listening.

I could learn another fairly easily if I had to but need constant practice -even in English- or I'll forget it quickly. Watched several #Turkish #dizi recently and picked up a bit of the language but I don't watch that often.

Oh and have used several programming languages but those don't count.
