I found that our #makerspace's welcome email to new members wasn't being delivered to #Gmail accounts. After a lot of trial and error I worked out it was because of the join.slack.com link. I set up a redirect and the emails get through now.

Note the emails weren't going to the spam folder they were just completely vanishing after successful delivery to Gmail's #SMTP server.

#DKIM, #SPF and #DMARC all pass.

I'm sure it's a coincidence that #Google sees #Slack as competition.

Ce n'est qu'aujourd'hui que je découvre dmarc-cat de @Keltounet : petit utilitaire (en Go forcément ^^) pour analyser les rapports #DMARC que l'on reçoit sous forme de XML.

Et en plus dispo sous forme de paquet sur plein de distro (Debian notamment) et très certainement sous *BSD ;)

#DKIM seul ne suffit pas. S'il n'y a pas de signature, comment savoir si c'est normal. #DMARC résoud ce problème : on publie sa politique dans le #DNS. (Et on casse plein de trucs car il impose des contraintes supplémentaires, « d'alignement ».)

It's been a big #problem for years, though it's getting #worse. The #Gmail / Outlook-Hotmail-Office365 / Yahoo triumvirate have backroom deals so they don't have #deliverability issues to each other. But the small guys have trouble delivering to them - particularly Gmail.

I've run my own mail server for going on 25 years now. For the last 15 years it's had the same IP. Strict #SPF & #DMARC, correct #DKIM & #DNS. Zero #spam. And I still have deliverability problems.

EasyDMARC tillåter bara en domän numera. Finns någon annan #DMARC-tjänst man kan använda? Har extremt lite mejl till mina domäner, men det är ju trevligt om man kan göra något av den där statistiken som mejlservern spottar ur sig.
