The last thought I have about my #DNAresults and my #ethnicity is that I find it interesting that my #maternal family's #oralhistory is that we're #French, #German, and #Irish - which these results certainly bear out - but that each analysis of my DNA will assign my ethnicity differently: one site gives more to German, one more to French, one more to Scandinavian, one more to #Cymry etc. I just find that interesting.

Now one of the other neat things about the #DNAtest that I learned from .@Karpoozy on #TikTok is that you can download your #DNAresults & upload them to other sites. My Ancestry DNA file has been uploaded to 23&Me, MyHeritage, GEDMATCH, etc. etc.
