This is a shot in the dark, but anybody in Charleston, WV or the vicinity interested in joining a #Pathfinder1e in-person mini-campaign of three to five sessions with a chance that it becomes something longer?

If you see this post months or years from now, just know I'm probably still interested in GMing. 😃 By then I may actually actively have a game running.

Musste darüber jetzt nochmal nachdenken, aber meine SC sind in Fantasy-RPGs tatsächlich noch nie gestorben oder in-game ausgeschieden. Stattdessen sind die Runden eingeschlafen (manchmal nach nur einer einzigen Sitzung) oder zerbrochen. Ob #DSA4, #MERS, #Rolemaster, #Earthdawn, #DnD3, #DnD5, oder #Dungeonslayers. Immer das Gleiche. Im Fall von #Pathfinder2 läuft die Runde noch, da heißt es abwarten, aber #NivVanDerZee ist aktuell kein heißer Kanditat für vorzeitiges Ableben. AC und HP sei Dank.

I believe it'd be possible to make a D&D-like game I like better, but WotC won't be the one to make it.

#Eberron is my favorite D&D setting by far! But sometimes an original setting is a better fit for a D&Dish idea. And sometimes a fantasy idea isn't particularly D&Dish, but I don't have a system I favor for that yet.

@zdl - while "hasn't BEEN evil in the past 20 years" isn't any concrete indicator of "won't ever be evil in the future" of course, I'm still not convinced this is a flag of impending evil.

In any case, ogl1.1 is not retroactive, so all the existing content made by others *including* Pathfinder remains as is. Don't trust WoTC? Fine, stick with your SRD/ogl1.0 content or stick with your fork of #dnd3.5

I've had the starter set for third edition #DungeonAndDragons laying in a cupboard for years, but never actually played it.
