#RPGaDay2023 Day 31: „Favourite RPG of all-time"
Argh…this is a tough one. If I take the time i actually played specific games as a measure, the answer must be: variations of #dnd, old school variants for the most part, retro clones, and modern hacks such as #TheBlackHack #DCC #ShadowDark and #FiveTorchesDeep. I also include games with recognizable #dnDNA in my most favourite-bag (#Mörkborg etc.).

@hachx0 if you are looking for non #CorporateDnD alternative with #dnDNA I like to recommend #ShadowdarkRPG. The game is currently hyped, but for good reasons, I think. Shadowdark merges #5e mechanisms with design principles of #OldSchoolDungeonsAndDragons iterations. The game is very accessible, which is great for introducing new players. Character creation takes only minutes. Gameplay is fast, combat is dangerous, the book provides plenty of DM Ressources

@AetherEgo @Morgunin @abfuning Ja- guten Morgen ☕️ 🌞 und ja AC muss kann mögen oder nicht. Ich mag AC ja, weil dadurch weniger gewürfelt wird. Mir graust immer vor Attacke-Parade-Mechaniken, weil das am Tisch so lange dauert. Spiele mit #dnDNA, die auf Schadensreduktion setzen, wären z.B. #TheBlackHack, #TheBlackSwordHack, #MörkBorg. Spannend auch: d20 Games, die ganz auf Angriffswurf verzichten: #MausRitter, #TheDeadAreComing
