#Minotaurs that had been turned into Giant Apes by Seluna are being hit and now look like Minotaurs. Snarlsnik is surrounded by enemies. I keep saying this, but this is really not going well. Like, really. This could end badly. #DnD #DnDWednesdays

The #Centaur still in the Insect Plague takes 20 points of damage, and now it's the #Centaurs turn. They attack Praest, but not very successfully, although they do use lightning to hit both him and Frenrick. Praest drops back into human form and Frenrick is HURT. Other Centaurs now turn to Snarlsnik, and one hits him with his hooves, but he's still up. #DnD #DnDWednesdays

A few things have happened, but I kinda zoned out for a minute. Fair enough, since I'm down methinks. It's Praest's turn now. He sees Blinky howling over my down body, so he heals me for 12HP. I whisper a thank you, and watch him as he runs at the Centaurs as an Orangutan again. #DnD #DnDWednesdays

It's my turn, so I fail my death saving throw. Seluna climbs up the wall and she sees a bubble with #Centaurs in it, and Praest in the alleyway facing four Centaurs on his own. "Oh! OK". She casts Shatter on the Centaurs facing Praest. #DnD #DnDWednesdays

in tiger form. He takes some damage, drops tiger form and takes some damage. "I feel squishy now". Ryolan the Bright (the commander of the Minotaurs) falls from his shoulders and screams "What the hell!"
It's the #Minotaurs' turn, and they deal quite a bit of damage (thankfully cos we're kinda fucked). So far 71 points of damage and a miss. #DnD #DnDWednesdays

Praest, in his ape form, runs into the room and into the Blinky-healing spirit. Despite me not rolling, one of the rolls is still a nat 1... He takes the healing, and then climbs over me and runs at the #Centaurs. Bear in mind, this is a SQUISHY #CLERIC, and somehow, he's doing better than the rest of us. He attacks the Centaur closer to him with his Spiritual Weapon and deals 11 damage. He crouches in ape form, and crosses his ape fingers. #DnD #DnDWednesdays

I can't see Frenrick, or what he's doing, he's right in the middle of all of the #Centaurs (he has 5 surrounding him). He attacks them with a rapier, hits one for 10, and another for 11. He looks around, nods at the centaurs surrounding him, and flies away, as a Centaur fails to hit him with his tail. Frenrick speeds through the air, lands next to us, and goes pet the spectral Blinky, who heals him for 5 HP. #DnD #Combat #DnDWednesdays #NotDeadYet

I cast Healing Spirit (in the same shape as Blinky), and walk into it to get a flimsy 6 points of healing, but hey, it's SOME healing. Blinky and Seluna see me and both use it too. Seluna then casts Synaptic Static on some #Centaurs for 37 damage if they fail their intelligence save (18 if they succeed). She does quite a bit of damage, which is a relief. #DnD #DnDWednesdays

We are hurt, we are not doing well, there are a lot of centaurs. But maybe with Snarlsnik with have a chance? He's taking some damage (38 points of damage), but maybe as a tiger he can maybe do something in his tiger form? He doesn't believe he can do enough damage to kill them before everybody dies, so he tells Frenrick to flee, and then casts wall of force to trap a lot of the #Centaurs in a bubble. #DnD #DnDWednesdays #TigerSpells

The centaurs move towards us, some getting off the Grinding Gears, others falling on them (but mostly avoiding it). A couple of them fall into the quicksand. Quite a few of them enter the room where Fenrick is, and he is heavily outnumbered... Again, this is not good. Frenrick chuckles nervously, and before he gets hit, he uses his prowess points to increase his AC to 25, so only the Claws attack hits. #DnD #DnDWednesdays

Combat proceeds, I'm feeling weak, but some damage is being dealt. Praest casts Sanctuary on himself, and then, hearing a lot of ape sounds, he feels like he's missing out, so he uses his Wildshape to turn into an Orangutan wearing a backpack and a green cape (admittedly, he was wearing those before). He climbs up the wall, and scampers along the top of it. towards where Seluna, me and the giant Ape are #DnD #Combat #DnDWednesdays

As she tries to pour it into my mouth, she notices that I have green boils. The Greater Potion helps me recover, and I open my eyes slowly. Seluna looks at me and tells me about the boils, they stink of necrosis. I have to be careful, I don't really know why they're there. It's now Frenrick's turn, and he hits the Toad creature and tries to inflict a deep wound on him. #DnD #DnDWednesdays #Ouch

Praest hits the Centaurs with the Insect Plague and deals 25 poitns of damage, which is neither here nor there, and then it's the #Minotaurs' turn. They do some damage against the Toad-creature and the Ape but not enough to kill them. On the Ape's turn, he punches me, not doing too much damage, or so I thought! I had a secret 17HP off my total, so I'm down. I fail my first save. Blinky is crying. Seluna comes over and tries to give me a potion of Greater Healing. #DnD #DnDWednesdays

I feel a warm breath on my neck, and as I turn towards it a previously invisible Giant Ape punches me and bits Blinky, caushing quite a bit of damage. And of course, forgetting all my plans to cast Healing Spirit, I hit it right back with #Lightbringer for 17 points of damage.
I look terrible, the poison is getting to me, and Seluna can see. She runs over and heals the poisoned effect, and I thank her profusely. #DnD #Combat #DnDWednesdays

I looked away for a second and now Snarlsnik has turned into... a tiger construct? WHAT IS HAPPENING? Unfortunately, he can't do much more with his turn. Now it's the #Minotaurs' turn and they're trying to kill the giant ape (hopefully they'll manage it, but we'll see!). AND THEY HIT! FIFTYTHREE POINTS OF DAMAGE! Which is... a lot. "It's not fast" says the Bearded God, talking about a Toad-creature that looks and jumps like Juggernaut dashes towards us. As though speed was what worried us in a killbox.
It is now Praest's turn, and he casts Insect Plague, trying to avoid us, and he deals a whooping 35 points of damage. He also uses Spiritual Weapon for another 11 points of damage. We are hurting the enemy, but our Minotaurs are hurting too. #DnD #Combat #DnDWednesdays

We are being attacked by #centaurs and tiny little goats. We're in a killbox we designed and we've had three waves of centaurs. We have #minotaurs helping us out. There's also a huge monkey-like creature which we've dealt with and now a toadlike creature who will almost certainly be able to jump over our defenses. We have some quicksand on our side, and we've designed a few booby traps. Right now Snarlsnik, our resident firebolter #DnD #DnDWednesdays

perfect for literally anyone who sees it or interacts with it. Now, Karhu being an incredibly sweet and loyal Bear, he would never cheat on Aya, his wife, so this has remained irrelevant for the rest of the campaign, but it's a good way to set the tone.
