#dnf5 on #openSUSE by @Conan_Kudo
Interesting video - I am curious to know if anyone in (open)SUSE thinks about switching the distro to dnf5.
While I was on holiday, Pavel released #Mock. It got a major version bump to 4.0 because there is a lot of news: Mock should work in #podman now without any additional settings. There is initial #DNF5 support. Mount point handling is an improvement. Curious about the details? Read full Release notes https://rpm-software-management.github.io/mock/Release-Notes-4.0 #fedora
Just a note for people hesitating to try #DNF5 - I have been trying it for more than half a year. And in the past few months, I have not found any issues. So I use it as a default. And it is much faster. DNF5 is present in #Fedora 38, and for older Fedoras, there is #Copr repository https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/ReplaceDnfWithDnf5#How_To_Test
