Ieri, ascoltando il racconto di conoscenti che si trovano nei territori occupati, ho realizzato meglio il motivo per cui la #Russia in #DNR e #Crimea offre consistenti incentivi (assegni famigliari, assegni per la casa, sussidi per figli a carico) e invita le persone evacuate da #Kherson (per motivi di sicurezza) a spostarsi nell'Oblast di #Donetsk (attualmente la parte più rovente del fronte).

È solo una mia supposizione, che non è possibile dimostrare, ma la ritengo plausibile, e temo che servano ai russi come scudi umani, per screditare gli ucraini quando attaccano per riprendersi il territorio, e infine come risorsa umana coloniale per la mobilitazione imposta nelle regioni occupate.

*da ricordare che la mobilitazione generale non c'è ufficialmente in Russia ma nei territori occupati sì.

over 16yrs as my dad’s #caretaker, & 5yrs (now 6yrs) in #eldercare for two #parents at the same time… not once were they treated like people w #hope for time once their #DNR #wishes were expressed

I am thankful that I can choose whether super human efforts will be made to keep me alive but the reality of #dnr when the time comes sucks for *everyone* involved. The patient is left, drugged up, to suffer as "nature is left to take its course" and loved ones have to watch, powerless. Adults should be able to choose their destiny, how and when they should go, #deathwithdignity.
